The Clinic of Nuclear Medicine of the University Hospital Wuerzburg is the official German Collaborating Centre for Radiation Emergency Medical Preparedness and Assistance within the international REMPAN (Radiation Emergency Medical Preparedness and Assistance Network) network of the World Health Organization (WHO). The German WHO Collaborating Centre was assigned by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU).
